LAMPSACUS. Stater, gold, about 350 BC. AV 8.43 g. Laureate, bearded head of Zeus l., sceptre over r. shoulder. Rev. Forepart of Pegasus flying r. Baldwin 29 (same dies); SNG BN Paris 1138 (same obv. die); SNG von Aulock 7394 (same dies).
Rare. Excellent style. Some flatness on rev. Almost extremely fine on obv., very fine on rev.
