TENEDOS. Tetradrachm, about 100-80 BC. AR 16.81 g. Janiform had of a laureate, bearded male and a diademed femal. Rev. ΤΕΝΕ-ΔΙΩΝ Labrys (double-axe), below, two bunches of grapes; all within laurel wreath. Callataÿ, Studies Price 100,1 (this specimen, illustr. on pl. 24).
Extremely rare, only specimen known of this issue. Very large flan. Light tone. Extremely fine
