CNIDUS. Tetradrachm, about 395-385 BC. AR 14.72 g. K - NI Head of Aphrodite Euploia l., wearing broad band, long cruciform ear pendant and a necklace, hair tied at back; behind neck, prow. Rev. Forepart of lion with open jaws l., below in tiny letters ΤΙΜΟΤΕΛΗΣ; all within incuse square. Hecatomnos Hoard 118, 23a (this specimen).
Rare. Excellent classical style, beautifully toned. Extremely fine
