L. Aemilius Lepidus Paullus, 62 BC. Denarius. AR 3.73 g. Female head r. (Venus ?), wearing diadem and laurel wreath, hair in a knot at the back of the head, locks falling down neck. Rev. Equestrian statue of M. Aemilius Lepidus (consul 187 BC.) r., wearing a trophy over his l. shoulder; in field, AN-XV PR - H.O.C.S (annorum XV progressus hostem occidit civem servavit), in exergue, M.LEPIDVS.
