C•MEMMI•C•F, head of Ceres right, wreathed with grain, wearing pendant earring, hair tied at back and flowing loosely / C•MEMMIVS / IMPERATOR, trophy of arms; bound captive kneeling right below. The obverse of this type alludes to the first celebration of the Ludi Cereales in or before 211 BC. The reverse represents victories in Bithynia and Pontus of C. Memmius L.f., praetor in 58 BC and the moneyer's uncle.
