Cnaeus Pompey Junior (46-45 BC). AR denarius (21mm, 8h). NGC VF. Uncertain mint in Spain (Corduba), summer 46 BC-spring 45 BC, M. Poblicius, legate pro praetore. M•POBLICI•LEG•PRO•-PR, helmeted head of Roma right; bead-and-reel border / CN•MAGNVS•IMP, Hispania or Baetica standing right, shield over back, two transverse spears in left hand, presenting palm with short stem in right to Pompey standing left on large prow. Crawford 469/1b. Sydenham 1035. Poblicia 10 and Pompeia 9.
