Electrotype: Kyrenaika, Kyrene AR Tetradrachm. Unknown maker, likely British Museum electrotype. Circa 525-480 BC. Head of roaring lion to left, silphium plant before, silphium fruit below / Head of eagle to right, holding serpent in beak, palmette to upper right; all within pelleted frame in square incuse. Head, Guide -; for prototype, cf. BMC 13, pl. III, 4 (same dies). 13.32g, 22mm, 6h.
