A remarkable feature of this rare dirham from al-Hârûnîya, which was identified by Michael Bates as the mining mint of Ma'din Bâjunays, is the lack of the name of al-Hâdî's ambitious brother Hârûn, whose name the mint was bearing at this time. From the rarity of the type a very short period of issue at the end of the year 169 H. can be concluded, because it was briefly continued in 170 H. and these dirhams are similarly rare.
