Charles I (1625-49), Halfcrown, 1634-1635, Group III, type 3a1, Tower, third horseman, reads CAROLV•S, 15.06g, 10h, m.m. bell (Bull 226d, same obverse die = Hulett XVI, 38; cf. SCBI Brooker 320; N.2209; S.2773), on a small but full weight flan, softly struck (double) in parts as usual for type and a die flaw on foreleg, otherwise toned, fine / good fine, an unusual error.
