Commonwealth (1649-60), Halfcrown, 1653, 14.90g, 5h, m.m. sun (ESC 28 [431]; N.2722; S.3215), tiny traces of mount marks at obverse 6 and 12 o'clock, and a small flan split at reverse 10 o'clock, otherwise the surfaces with pleasing original tone, thus a bold fine.
