IVPPITER CVSTOS, Jupiter seated on throne left, bare to waist, holding thunderbolt and long sceptre (BMC 77-78; RIC 63; Calicó 413; RCV 1930), some striking softness to reverse 3 to 6 o'clock, otherwise a pleasing very fine example of this most infamous Emperor 'who fiddled whilst Rome burned'.
