Sicily, Messana Mamertini Pentonkion (pre 282 BC), Æ 26mm., laureate head of Apollo left, lyre behind, rev. warrior standing facing, holding spear, shield in right field (Mont. 4475; SNG Copenhagen 449; SNG ANS 431), nicely patinated, good very fine, a seldom encountered type.
