SNG Copenhagen 184-185. Good Very Fine; attractive hard green patina with earthen highlights; well struck and attractive. Exceptional condition and lovely example of this historic type.
Homer, believed to have been from Ionia, appears quite prominently on the coinage of Smyrna, but he is also seen (though far less often) on this type from Kolophon.
