Mn. Aquillius Mn.f. Mn.n. 65 BC. AR Serrate Denarius (18.5mm, 3.92 g, 6h). Rome mint. Helmeted and draped bust of Virtus right / Mn. Aquillius standing right, holding shield and raising up kneeling figure of Sicily. Crawford 401/1; Sydenham 798; Aquillia 2; RBW 1443. A hint of iridescent toning, a few light scratches and marks, reverse struck slightly off center. Good VF. Possible 'al-marco' weight adjustment gouge on the reverse.
