SRI LANKA (CEYLON), Native coinages. Anuradhapura period. "Sri Lamka Vibhu". 8th century-1070. AV Kahavanu (22mm, 4.55 g, 6h). Kuvera standing facing, head right; to left; tree, flower symbol, and shell to left; crescent above; tree, flower symbol, and four annulets to right / Bahirava reclining right on asana, holding ball and crescent; Sri Lamka Vibhu to right. Cf. Mitchiner, Non-Islamic 825 (for similar); Sirisena type IA. Good VF.
