Nude, bearded and bald Silenos seated left on rock soil, legs crossed, head turned right towards kantharos in his raised left hand; he holds thyrsus with his lowered right hand. HGC 2 994; Cahn 141, 128. AR. 1.52 g. 13.70 mm. RRR. A fascinating issue. Very rare and seldom offered type with Silenos seated left. Dark toning. VF/About VF.
