AKARNANIA. Leukas. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 8.46 g, 5 h). Pegasus with straight wings flying to right; below, Λ. Rev. Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet with a neck flap; behind neck, Λ and a kyathos, a long-handled ladle. BMC 71. BCD 223 var. Calciati 109/2. A lovely toned example of splendid style. Die faults on the obverse above Pegasos's wing, otherwise, extremely fine.
