Cista mystica with half-open lid from which a serpent issues to the left; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two serpents coiled around a bow case; to left, monogram of Pergamon; to right, serpent-entwined thyrsos; between serpents' heads, MH above ΠPY monogram. Kleiner, Hoard 41. SNG BN 1745-6. SNG Copenhagen 437. Sharply struck from fresh dies and very well-centered. Lightly toned . Minor scuff at 9h on the obverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
