EASTERN CELTS. 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 11.86 g, 6 h), the Zopfreiter type, imitating tetradrachms of Philip II, minted in the area of central and southern Hungary. Laureate head of a "Celticized" Zeus to left. Rev. Λ-Π Somewhat female-looking rider to left; below, triskeles. Castelin 1231. Dembski 1361. Flesche 565. Lanz 729. OTA 436. Toned and well-struck on a broad flan. Good very fine.
