LUCANIA. Metapontum. Circa 515-510 BC. Stater (Silver, 27 mm, 8.18 g, 12 h). ΜΕΤΑΠ Seven-grained barley ear; border of dots. Rev. Seven-grained barley ear, as above but incuse; rayed border. ΗΝ ΙΙΙ 1481. Noe 142 (same obverse die). Attractively toned. Good very fine.
