Of laudable quality for this late 18th century gold type, the whole of the surfaces retaining their free-flowing aurous brilliance. Both Ferdinand's bust and the reverse shield motif are clearly contoured, thereby expressing a relatively high relief against the lower-lying regions. A quite collectible example of the type, and only the second representative that we have yet had the privilege to offer.
