THRACIAN KINGDOM. Lysimachus (305-281 BC). AR tetradrachm (30mm, 16.81 gm, 12h). NGC XF 5/5 - 4/5, Fine Style. Posthumous issue of Uncertain Mint in Thrace, ca. 300-250 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon; dotted border / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣΙΜΑXΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, Nike in right hand crowning name, left arm resting on shield decorated with lion head boss, transverse spear beyond; XAP monogram in inner left field, uncertain symbol (appears to be conjoined foreparts of two horses as on Müller 130-8 (Perinthus), but facing inward instead of outward) and ΞΩ monogram in exergue.
