6-Piece Set of Uncertified gold "European Rulers" Medalets ND (ca. 1810) UNC, 20mm. Average weight 2.74gm. An intriguing set of medalets depicting the contemporary rulers of European powers. Included in the set are medals of João VI (Portugal), George III (Great Britain), Gustav IV Adolf (Sweden), Ferdinand VII (Spain), Alexander I (Russia), and Frederick William III (Prussia, incorrectly stated as F.W. IV on the medalet). Housed in small metal case with lattice lid, the inside bottom inscription reading "E. Tomason's Manufactory Birmingham" and depicting a building, presumably the manufactory.
