Bavaria. Maximilian II gold Ducat 1850 MS63 Prooflike PCGS, Munich mint, KM839, D&S-34. Mintage: 1,519. Variety with German obverse. Incredibly handsome as a type, and even more so for its Prooflike designation, the surfaces nearly cameoed against the well-frosted devices. Presently the only example of this date at PCGS carrying the Prooflike designation.
