Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. Anton Ulrich gold 2 Ducat 1707-HCH AU Details (Mount Removed) NGC, Brunswick mint, KM698, Fr-648, Welter-2289, Jones-2674. An extremely scarce gold double ducat, this being the sole example that has appeared on auction in recent years. Well struck despite minor waviness to the flan, with the apparent areas of flatness atop the high points actually revealing themselves to just be areas of adjustment upon closer inspection.
