Great Britain
Victoria bronzed Proof Restrike Pattern Penny 1860-Dated (c. 1886) PR64+ PCGS, Peck-2106 (R). By Joseph Moore. Perhaps Moore's most attractive penny pattern, the strike admitting few signs of die rust in comparison with Peck's statement that the dies had become rather rusty in the 20 years since their original production, only a small dabble to the right of Britannia's olive branch. Clay red and consistently glossy over very nearly gem-quality surfaces.
