A pleasingly matched coronation Proof set, each example touched by a light tinge of marigold tone in the fields. The only coronation issues explicitly produced in matte finish--this finish subsequently used only for special photographic purposes--the 1902 issues frequently feature swirling raised hairlines in the fields as a consequence of the sandblasting process used to produce the dies, a quality seen upon the present examples and perhaps accounting for the assigned grades.
