Elizabeth II 32-Piece Set of Uncertified Prooflike Maundy Presentation Coinage 2002,
Includes seven 2002 Maundy sets:
1) Penny, KM898
2) 2 Pence, KM899
3) 3 Pence, KM901
4) 4 Pence, KM902
KM-MDS261. Mintage: 1,681. As well, 2 extra Maundy 3 Pence and 1 Pound 50 Pence in circulating coinage are also included, presumable for the "£1.50 in lieu of provisions" mentioned in the accompanying letter. These coins are sold with original documentation detailing their presentation to Mr. Francis Charles of St. John's Hospital, a ceremony which took place in 2002 at Canterbury Cathedral. Also included are the original red and white purses in which the coins were presented. We note that the circulation Pound has PVC residue.
