Republic Peso 1885 MS63 NGC, Tegucigalpa mint, KM52. Truly considerable as a conditional rarity in this otherwise common Peso series, most known examples for all dates coming in at the XF range or lower, with even high AU's bringing fairly modest prices. At a full five points above the next finest at NGC, the offering displays a marvelous brilliance to the fields, themselves mottled with russet color, quickly offsetting the usual flatness of the strike.
