The final date for this well-known rarity of the ZAR series, highly lustrous with only a few scattered contact marks and a generally exacting strike (besides the usual weakness on the reverse eagle). Presently outranked by only three pieces out of nearly 500 certified, the last MS62 of this date bringing $3,600 in our January 2019 Auction #3071.
