The Commercial Bank of Australia, printers archival photographs showing obverse and reverse designs for £1, Melbourne, c.1900, allegorical maiden (industry) at top centre, value at centre and corners, Chinese text at left and right, reverse with ornate value at centre, flanked by urns, (some similarities for the issued notes, Vort-Ronald page 133), excellent quality, unique and interesting (2).
