GAUL, Nemausus. Augustus, with Agrippa. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ As (26.5mm, 10.60 g, 9h). Struck circa 16/5-10 BC. Heads of Agrippa left, wearing rostral crown and laurel wreath, and Augustus right, bareheaded, back to back / Crocodile right, chained to palm frond; at top, wreath with long ties; two palm fronds at base. RPC I 523; RIC I 155. Dark green patina with some light earthen highlights/deposits, minor roughness. VF.
