AVT K M ANT ΓOPΔIANOC/ AVΓ, confronted busts of Gordian III right, laureate, draped, cuirassed, and Serapis left, draped and wearing modius / VΠ MHNO-ΦIΛ-OV M-APKIANOΠOΛ[I]/T, Nike standing left, holding wreath and palm frond. H&J - ; Varbanov -; AMNG I/1, 1141. Green patina. In NGC encapsulation 4246216-011, graded XF. Apparently a rarely seen variety, one specimen cited by Pick (in Munich) but missing from the more recent publications on the coinage.
