EGYPT, Alexandria. Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Hemidrachm (27mm, 11.73 g, 12h). Dated RY 14 or 15 (AD 110/111 or 111/112). Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / Trajan, holding eagle-tipped scepter and branch, driving quadriga right; [L I∆ or IE] (date) above. Köln 585 var. (date in exergue–RY 15); Dattari (Savio) 751 (RY 14); K&G 27.353 (RY 14) or 27.434 (RY 15); RPC III 4552 (RY 14) or 4639 (RY 15); Emmett 626.14 (R5) or 626.15 (R3). Green surfaces with touches of bare metal on the highpoints. Good Fine. Very rare, the date is not struck up, but the obverse is stylistically very close to similar drachms for Trajan's regnal years 14 and 15.
