Lucius Verus. AD 161-169. Æ Sestertius (33mm, 24.41 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius, AD 164. Laureate bust right, drapery on left shoulder / Verus seated left on curule chair set on low platform, left hand on parazonium at side, extending right hand to place diadem on head of King Sohaemus, who stands left in front of platform and raises his hand to adjust diadem; in background on platform, one officer standing right, holding spear, and two officers standing left. RIC III 1371 (Aurelius) var. (bust type); Banti 93. Brown patina, some roughness and pitting, flan crack. Near VF.
