British Colony Counterstamped 10 Pence ND (1758) AU50 NGC, KM3, Prid-7. Displaying GR counterstamp on a Ferdinand VI Real 1757-LM from Peru (cf. KM52). Comparatively lofty for the issue, a distinctive degree of residual luster present around the protected regions of the design, together with traces of turquoise toning. The finest specimen we have offered, with an XF40 bringing $1527 in our April 2016 sale.
