Aureolus (AD 268) - Antoninianus (Mediolanum, 3.62 g) - Struck in the name of Postumus mid AD 268 - Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Postumus right / Fides seated right, holding patera and signum (P in ex.) (RIC V -- / AGK (Postumus) 18c / RSC (Postumus) 60) - VF. This coin was struck by Aureolus during the siege of Milan. On the reverse of these coins is a reference to the cavalry (EQVIT) of which he was commander. Furthermore, these coins have their own portrait style.
