THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos (323-281 B.C.) gold stater (8.51 g), uncertain mint, probably Byzantium, posthumous issue c.200 B.C., obv. head of Alexander the Great to right wearing horn of Ammon, rev. Athena enthroned, lions head to left, trident in exergue, to right **BASILEOS* to left **YSIMAXOY* (cf S.6813). Very fine.
