SICILY, Akragas (Agrigentum), Punic Occupation, (213-211 B.C.), silver drachm or half shekel, (3.17 g), obv. wreath head of Zeus to right within dotted border, rev. eagle standing right with spread wings, around AKRA**GAN TINWN, G* in right field, (S.755, Burnett, Enna 7, BAR issue 14, HGC 2, 122, SNG Cop. 107, SNG Lockett 720 = Weber 1215). Attractive tone, reverse unevenly toned, extremely fine and rare.
