British Historical Medals, The Kings and Queens of England, Jean Dassier's complete set of medals, in copper, 1731-1732, from William the Conqueror to the Dedication Medal of George II, Queen Caroline, and Death of George II, and including the (slightly reduced size) medal of Cromwell, this 38mm., the others 41mm. (MI. p.1; Eisler I, pp. 252-266, 1-33, 35), contained in a Georgian green leather-bound case, the lid stamped in gilt, "THE ROYAL SERIES", the case a little scuffed, the medals choice, extremely fine to mint state and, as a complete set, scarce (35)
