John Propert (1783-1867), founder and benefactor of Epsom College, the medal dated on the obverse to the year of his death.
Gerald Edward Harold Ellis (1879-1967), born in New Zealand; entered Epsom in 1892, became head prefect; Lincoln College, Oxford, playing Chess for the University; head master, the Whitgift School, Croydon. Further details sold with lot.
