PHRYGIA, Laodikeia. Circa 133/88-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.23 g, 12h). Cistophoric standard. Ermogenes, son of Olympiodoros, magistrate. Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Bow case with serpents; ЄPMOΓENHΣ/OΛYMΠIO/ΔωPOY in three lines above, [Λ]AO to left, filleted kerykeion to right. HGC 7, 724; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG von Aulock –; BMC –; Waddington 7020. Lightly toned, slightly off center, light porosity. Good VF. Rare with this magistrate.
