SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos IV Philopator. 187-175 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30.5mm, 16.63 g, 1h). ICIΔ mint, in Mesopotamia or Media. Diademed head right / Apollo Delphios, testing arrow and resting hand on bow, seated left on omphalos; traces of tiny letters(?) within bow. SC 1333.4 (same obv. die as illustration); HGC 9, 580i; CSE 1314 var. (control marks; same obv. die). Toned, overstruck on uncertain issue, slight roughness. VF. Very rare.
