JUDAEA, Bar Kochba Revolt. 132-135 CE. AR Zuz – Denarius (19.5mm, 3.53 g, 7h). Jerusalem mint. Undated issue, attributed to year 3 (134/5 CE). Grape bunch on vine tendril; "Shim'on'" (in Hebrew) around / Elongated kithara; "For the Freedom of Jerusalem" (in Hebrew) around. Mildenberg 205 (O24/R133); Meshorer 272b; Hendin 1424. Lightly toned, a few minor scratches, overstruck on a drachm of Trajan (traces of undertype visible). Good VF.

Lot includes a PNG certificate of authenticity, Serial 7882, dated 1 June 1979, attesting the seller as Superior Stamp & Coin.
