Anonymous. Circa 225-214 BC. AR Didrachm – Quadrigatus (22mm, 6.47 g, 5h). Uncertain mint. Laureate head of Janus; curved truncation / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory; incuse ROMA in raised tablet below. Crawford 28/3; Sydenham 64a; RSC 23; RBW 65-6. Lightly toned, some light scratches, edge chip revealing crystallized metal. VF.
