China People's Bank of China 100 Yuan 1949 Pick 835a S/M#C282 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. Incredible, original paper is seen on this initial denomination of the Georgian Calendar Date series. Although this is the first denomination of the series, it is arguably the second rarest. At the time of cataloging, this note is tied atop the PMG Population Report, with none finer. Impressive technical details are easily seen through the third party holder. While there are multiple designs for the other denominations of the series, the 100 Yuan only has this design, with Chinese sailing ships at front. We have not offered this type in many years, regardless of grade. No example grading PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ has sold previously or been offered publicly.
