China People's Bank of China 20 Yuan 1965 Pick UNL Artist's Rendition PMG Holdered. A gorgeous hand-drawn presentation proposal for a denomination that was never issued. The face layout of the design is distinctively similar to that of the Third Series RMB issue. The back layout is similar to the landscape vignettes seen on the Fourth Series RMB higher denomination notes. However, this design was not used, as the 10 Yuan was the highest denomination issue at the time. China would not see a 20 Yuan denomination until 1999. All features are meticulously hand rendered on this presentation example with brilliant inks on both sides.
