William and Mary (1688-1694), Five-Guineas, 1691 TERTIO, Elephant and Castle, + • + • DECVS E[T] TVTAMEN ANNO REGNI • TERTIO •, 41.44g, 6h (King - [cf. 124-25 for date]; MCE 137; S.3423), a plugged pin hole at 5'clock, the fields smoothed, the hair above William's ear reworked, and a small scratch to crown, otherwise struck details about very fine, consequently a presentable and affordable example of the extremely popular Five-Guinea coinage with the variety unrepresented in the famous Samuel King collection.
