Kirin. Kuang-hsü 20 Cents CD 1908 MS62 PCGS, KM-Y181b, L&M-578, Kann-571. Variety with province name written in Manchu characters in center of reverse. Though somewhat unevenly struck, this important provincial minor offers an impressive lustrous quality, joined by a degree of surface preservation that few surviving examples of the issue can boast. Luminescent brightness highlights from the fields and within the crevices of the devices, with a soft silvery patina, laid over the surfaces, conveying a rarely seen quality for the type.
