Shansi. Republic Yen Hsi-san Fantasy Dollar Year 18 (1929)-Dated UNC Details (Obverse Tooled) NGC, KM-X1260, Kann-B62, WS-1349-63. An extremely difficult type to locate in any sort of meaningful condition, the vast majority having been either tooled or otherwise repaired. Even so, uncirculated specimens represent a clear outlier in the series, the finest straight-graded representatives in the NGC census being a pair of AU58s. From a visual perspective, despite the noted tooling, the coin at hand preserves a clearly sound strike with full details.
